How Do You Kill 11 Million People? Why The Truth Matters More Than You Think by Andy Andrews

There are very few books that I believe have a life changing affect, but this one will make you think. Guess what I did when I finished reading the last page of How Do You Kill 11 Million People? I flipped back to the first page and began reading it again!

It is a short read, but don’t let it’s size fool you. How Do You Kill 11 Million People? packs a punch, grabs your heart, and asks you the question are you going to stand up for what is right?

How Do You Kill 11 Million People?

Or, to be precise, 11,283,000 people.

Andy Andrews believes that good answers come only from asking the right questions. Through the powerful, provocative question, “How do you kill eleven million people?”—the number of people killed by the Nazi German regime between 1933 and 1945—he explores a number of other questions relevant to our lives today:

Does it matter that millions of ordinary citizens have checked out of participating in the decisions that shape the future of our country?

Which is more dangerous: politicians with ill intent, or the too-trusting population that allows such people to lead them?

How are we supposed to tell the difference between the “good guys” and the “bad guys”?

How does the answer to this question affect not only our country but our families, our faith, and our values?

What happens to a society in which truth is absent?

As Americans or people who live in America and enjoy the freedom, have become to complacent, too easily led. How Do You Kill 11 Million People? is for all Americans no matter what their political beliefs are, but instead a thought provoking writing for every civil liberties loving, pro-American who believe in the saying “We The People.”

I strongly encourage seniors in high school to read this book! We need to stop blindly believing in everything someone says. With the expansion of the internet, TRUTH becomes a prized commodity. America needs to be inspired to act, to become more involved in the decisions that are being made for our country and I believe How Do You Kill 11 Million People? Why The Truth Matters More Than You Think by Andy Andrews is a great starting place for discussion.
