Review:
The Brotherhood grabbed a hold of my heart and did not let go! My brother is a police officer so this story hit home and tells a story of one of my worst nightmares. But what if the worst did happen how would you respond? As Christians we live life knowing we are saved but it is not until everything is stripped away that we can see what remains. Jenkins writes a story that leaves your heart pumping, your eyes teary, and a desire to read more. Jenkins had me in tears while reading a eulogy Pastor Sosa gave. The Brotherhood is a story that shows you how you can stand on the Rock (Christ) when the worst happen.
I have learned throughout my own life that when everything is shaking around you and you don’t know how you can move forward, that Christ is there gently leading you during the time of darkness. And when you emerge from the pit, you have learned that the foundation of Christ is solid!
