The Names of God Bible by Ann Spangler

I was excited to receive The Names of God Bible, this is an excellent resource to use alongside your daily devotions. The Names of God Bible is written in GOD’S WORD Translation (here is more information on that translation) and it is a resource that brings deeper understanding to a name of God, giving readers its history and meaning. Two of my favorite features were reading the promises associated with a particular name and a list of Key Names that will be read throughout that particular book. One of my favorite names to read was Good Sheppard, the promises listed bring great comfort and the image of Jesus as protector for wayward people is something I lean on daily.

Each Name Pages features:

  • background information associated with the most important names and titles of God
  • key Scripture passages in which the name is revealed
  • devotional readings for each of the featured names
  • specific Bible promises connected to each of the featured names

  • The Names of God Bible is a resource that would be a great addition to any bible study.
