Description

A retired group of legendary mercenaries get the band back together for one last impossible mission in this award-winning debut epic fantasy.

"Fantastic, funny, ferocious." -- Sam Sykes

Clay Cooper and his band were once the best of the best, the most feared and renowned crew of mercenaries this side of the Heartwyld.

Their glory days long past, the mercs have grown apart and grown old, fat, drunk, or a combination of the three. Then an ex-bandmate turns up at Clay's door with a plea for help -- the kind of mission that only the very brave or the very stupid would sign up for.

It's time to get the band back together.

A ripping tale, like an epic D&D quest come to life. The characters are complex and you care about their exploits and outcomes. I absolutely Loved it!!!

Equal parts heroism, danger, suspense, and comedy, Kings of the Wyld was simply impossible for me to put down.

Get this book, read it through the night until dawn slithers under the shades, and then look for a sequel. Awesome.

I was looking for a new read and I couldn't have stumbled upon something as good as this. Did I say good? I MEANT FANTASTICALLY AMAZING! The main character, Clay Cooper, is one of the most well crafted characters I've ever followed and Saga's reunification and journey is heart-warming, hilarious, and downright depressing at times. I will proudly add this book to my finished list and I will most certainly be picking up the next book in the series, 'Bloody Rose'. Thank you Eames!
  • Familiar but wholly original
